Sheikh Mohammed Issues New Endowment Law for Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has issued Law No.14 of 2017 for regulating endowments in Dubai. The legislation will work to promote the role of endowments as a means of community development and encourages the development of social, scientific, cultural and environmental programmes in Dubai.

Dubai has been particularly progressive in terms of endowments, just last year it launched the world’s first centre for endowment consultancy services, the Mohammad Bin Rashid Global Center for Endowment Consultancy, with a vision to position the emirate of Dubai as the global humanitarian capital.
