Catherine works in the corporate department of our Muscat office in the Sultanate of Oman.
Her main focus is corporate and commercial law. She is especially skilled in drafting and negotiating engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts, assisting governmental and semi-governmental clients with legislation development projects, as well as advising overseas companies on foreign direct investment laws, local and cross border M&A’s, distribution, franchising, agency, and administration procedures that can have an impact on setting up operations in Oman. Catherine also provides advice on various labour law and immigration related issues.
Prior to joining BSA Catherine practiced for 5 years at an international law firm based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and in Muscat, Oman. Before moving to the Gulf region, she worked as a legal advisor to private sector companies, providing commercial and international law advice and dealing with contractual negotiations in Poland, Syria and Jordan.
